Kaziranga Wildlife Photography Tour

Kaziranga is known as the Land of the Big Five which comprises of Bengal Tiger, Asian Elephant, Indian Rhinoceros, Wild Buffalo, and Eastern Swamp Deer. The park also has one of the highest tiger densities in India. Tiger will be our primary target, along will other wildlife species too.

Apart from the Big Five, the other species to look out for are Hog Badger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Hollock Gibbon, Yellow-throated Marten, Fishing Cat, Leopard Cat, Jungle Cat, Golden Jackal, Malayan Giant Squirrel, Hoary-bellied Squirell, Gangetic Dolphin, King Cobra, Burmese Python, Smooth-coated Otter, Bengal Florican, Swamp Francolin, Great Hornbill, Grey-headed Fish Eagle, Pallas's Fish Eagle, Indo-Chinese Roller, Green-billed Malkoha, Greater Adjutant, etc.

Situated in the state of Assam, Kaziranga National Park is around a 5-6 hour drive from Guwahati. Guwahati is well connected to the rest of India by road, rail, and air. There are four zones or ranges which can be visited by tourists, which are Central (Kohora), Western (Bagori), Eastern (Agaratoli), and Burapahar. During our tour, we may or may not visit all the zones. Decisions regarding which zone to visit will be taken on the spot, depending on the ongoing sighting trends. The morning safari timing is 7:30 am to 12 noon and the afternoon safari timing is 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

• Day 1 - Early morning pick up (around 7 am) from Guwahati and transfer to a resort in Kaziranga with lunch on the way (5.5-6 hrs journey), check-in and afternoon safari, overnight at the resort with dinner
• Day 2, 3 & 4 - Morning and afternoon open-top Gypsy safari at Kaziranga NP, overnight at the resort with all meals
• Day 5 - Post breakfast morning open-top Gypsys safari in Kaziranga NP, check out from the resort, and transfer to Guwahati with lunch on the way

The tour cost per Indian participant is Rs 49,990/- only.

PS: The tour cost is as per prevailing Forest Department tourism charges. Any increment by the Department in those rates will reflect as an addition to the tour cost.
