About Bardiya National Park

Bardiya National Park or Bardiya Rashtriya Nikunj is situated in Nepal. The national park is of 6-7 hours drive from Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. Lucknow is well connected to the rest of India by road, rail, and air. A limited number of accommodation facilities are available adjacent to the national park boundaries. Apart from the regular jeep safaris, Bardiya also offers walking safaris, raft safaris (seasonal), jungle camping, and night safaris in community forests.

During our full-day safaris, we will also do short walks inside the forest and will be waiting at a few locations. Camping chairs/stools will be available for every guest. It is mandatory for every guest to wear clothes in shades of green or brown only. The same is applicable to the shoes, caps, hats, etc.

Though our primary target will be the Bengal Tiger, Bardiya also has Leopard, Sloth Bear, Fishing Cat, Leopard Cat, Jungle Cat, Rusty-spotted Cat, Elephant, Rhino, Swamp Deer, Gangetic Dolphin, Smooth-coated Otter, Golden Jackal, King Cobra, Marsh Crocodile, Gharial, Great-slaty Woodpecker, Great Hornbill, Spot-bellied Eagle Owl, Brown Fish Owl, etc.

• Day 1 - Pick up from Lucknow around 10 am and transfer to a resort in Bardiya of Nepal (6-7 hrs journey by car), check-in and relax, and overnight at the resort with dinner
• Day 2 to 6 - Sunrise to sunset open-top jeep safari in Baridya National Park with packed breakfast and lunch, overnight at the resort with dinner
• Day 7 - Check out from the resort post breakfast, and transfer to Lucknow, reach Lucknow by 5 pm

The tour cost per Indian participant is Rs. 82,990/- only.

PS: The tour cost is as per prevailing Forest Department tourism charges. Any increment by the Department in those rates will reflect as an addition to the tour cost.

• 6-night stays in an AC room on double occupancy basis
